1. Informing the citizens about various
activities of the international , Arab and Islamic organizations for
education , science and culture, their objectives aiming at
understanding and convergence among all countries in conformity with the
Palestinian national privacy.
2. Enabling the national institutions,
non-governmental institutions and individuals to participate in general
conferences, meetings and courses held by such organizations and provide
necessary facilities to delegations.
3. Assisting the Palestinian specialized
institutions to enable them to have maximum benefit from the activities
and programs of these organizations.
4. Giving opinion and advice on the
international matters relevant to education, culture, science and
communication, and participation in studying the project of proposed
conventions and agreements between Palestine and these organizations or
their member states.
5. Supervising and organizing the
meetings, courses and conferences held by these organizations in
Palestine.
6. Cooperation with the Palestinian
Missions and Palestinian representatives to these organizations and
providing them with studies, research and information that they may need
for performing their tasks.
7. Cooperation and coordination with the
NGOs which are involved in the fields of education, culture, science,
women, children and youth in order to activate their activities to
contribute to the process of development.
8. Adopting the reports of the Secretary
General of PNCECS in relation with following up the implementation of
the resolutions and recommendations of the general conferences of these
organizations.
9. Nominating delegations to participate
in the works of the general conferences, meetings and seminars in
coordination with the ministers and national intuitions. |
