The General Assembly is the highest
authority of PNCECS which sets the national general policy of the
educational, cultural and scientific process directed to the Arab,
international and Islamic organizations.
This General Assembly approves the
Palestinian projects submitted to those organizations. It recommends the
formation of the Palestinian delegations who participate in the general
conference of the Arab, Islamic and international organizations.
The General Assembly consists of
PNCECS Presidency, Secretary General, and representatives of the
Ministries of Education, Culture , Tourism and Antiquities, Youth and
Sport, Information, Planning and Foreign Affairs, the competent
departments of PLO, in addition to representatives of universities,
popular organizations, Unions, associations and NGOs working in the
fields of educational, culture, communication, scientific research as
well as educational, cultural and scientific professionals who are
selected by PNCECS Presidency.
